MightyPoll is a social polling platform that aids the next generation of Internet users by simplifying the decision-making process through voting. The branding centred on the concept of polling, from a ‘checkbox’ logo to cheeky vote options, expressed through a series of neon colours and imagery to break away from stereotypical polling organisations.
The brief was simple. Make it fun. Make it exciting. Make it worthwhile. The challenge was to develop an identity that appeals to businesses and individuals. It had to be relatable, easy to use, yet credible and functional to facilitate corporations in their marketing strategy. Budgetary constraints and expressing a tech-driven brand on print also contributed to the challenges. The solution adopted an unrestrainedly fun and cheeky characteristic that reflected the varied nature of the new generation. The idea of polling is reflected across all communications where poll options feature witty messages. The design colution was also aimed at maximising efficiency. For instance, three names are on a single card is made possible with this polling concept.
